The concept

Intelligence as a substrate.

Solstice does not build agents from scratch. We build them from a shared lineage.

All Solstice systems inherit from a "Master Mold"—IRIS. This base intelligence contains the core capabilities of perception, reasoning, and tool use. The Factory applies constraints and specialized knowledge to this mold to produce domain-specific agents.

The Process

• 1. Inheritance
  A new agent is instantiated from the IRIS substrate, inheriting all vision, voice, and reasoning capabilities immediately.
• 2. Constraint Injection
  We apply behavioral constraints (e.g., "Must communicate using PECS", "Must not use cloud APIs"). This shapes the intelligence without retraining.
• 3. Knowledge Grafting
  Domain-specific RAG and toolsets (e.g., OBD-II protocols, medical databases) are grafted onto the agent.
• 4. Deployment
  The agent is packaged for its target runtime—web, desktop, or native mobile.
